We love Ramen! It is an easy, flavorful, adaptable and flavorful dish we could enjoy every day without growing bored. We add lots of fresh vegetables, spices, herbs, chilis and oils to our favorite Lotus Food’s Rice Ramen noodles. We call this one our healing Rainbow Ramen because we have a rainbow of colors and textures to engage our senses. Plus, it is very easy to make. Literally just throw everything into a pot and boil for 4 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

1 pkg Jade Pearl Rice Ramen

1 1/2 cups Living Whole Food Water

1/4 cup Carrots shredded

1/4 cup Purple Cabbage shredded

1/4 cup Cilantro chopped

1/4 cup Shiitake dried

1/4 cup The Doc’s Favorite Marinated Tofu

2 cloves Garlic minced

4-8 fresh Basil leaves chiffonade (garnish)

1 tbsp Tamari

1/4 tsp MSG

1 tsp Organic Virgin Coconut Oil

1 tbsp Sesame Oil

1 tbsp Chinese Chili Paste

1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes

1 tsp Garlic powder

1 tsp Smoked Paprika

1/4 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt

1/4 tsp MSG

UTENSILS

Large Cooking Pot with Lid

Cutting Board

Chefs Knife

1/4 Teaspoon

Teaspoon

Tablespoon

Chopstick or Large Fork (to break up Ramen)

1/4 Cup

PREPARATION (Rainbow Ramen)

  1. Add Water to Large Cooking Pot

  2. Add Salt

  3. Put temperature on High

  4. Add Carrots, Purple Cabbage, Cilantro, Shiitake, Garlic, Tamari, Garlic powder, Smoked Paprika, MSG, Miso, Red Pepper Flakes, Sesame Oil, Chinese Chili Paste & Ramen seasoning to Water

  5. Stir well

  6. When Water Boils Add Ramen noodles

  7. Cook for 4 minutes using Chopstick or Large Fork to break up the Ramen noodles

  8. Taste broth and adjust seasoning to your palate

  9. Garnish with Basil chiffonade

  10. Eat hot and enjoy because every bite nourishes your body
