This is why I’ve developed a few ways to prepare kale that are simply delicious with everyone asking for seconds. Let’s prepare some food…

INGREDIENTS

1 box Gluten-Free Penne Pasta

4 cups Living Whole Food Water

1 tsp Cold-Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2 tbsp Cold-Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 tbsp Organic Coconut Oil

3 cloves Garlic minced

1 cup Organic Kale chiffonade

2 tbsp Organic Tahini Paste

1 tsp Chili powder (+ extra for garnish)

1 tsp Tamari

3 tbsp Nutritional Yeast

2 tbsp Dijon Mustard

1 tbsp Garlic powder

1 tsp Smoked Paprika

1/4 tsp Liquid Smoke

1/4 tsp MSG

1/2 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt

1/4 cup Plant-Parmesan (garnish)

UTENSILS

Large Cooking Pot with Lid

Pasta Stirrer

Wooden Spatula

Pasta Strainer

1/4 Teaspoon

½ Teaspoon

Tablespoon

1/4 Cup

Cutting Board

Chef’s Knife

PREPARATION (Kale Mac & Cheese)

  1. Add Water to your Large Cooking Pot

  1. Add 1/4 teaspoon Salt

  2. Cover with Lid and bring to Boil

  3. Add Penne Pasta

  4. Add 1 teaspoon of Olive Oil

  5. Cook uncovered to the pasta box’s instructions leaving pasta a little al dente

  6. While you wait for Water to Boil & Pasta to Cook mince Garlic & chiffonade Kale

  7. After Pasta cooks and is strained Rinse Pasta with COLD water until all the Pasta feels Cold to the touch

  8. Leave your Pasta aside

  9. To Large Cooking Pot on Medium heat add: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil and Garlic

  10. Stir with Wooden Spatula

  11. When Garlic Blooms Reduce heat to Lowest Heat Setting

  12. Add Tahini

  13. Mix with Wooden Spatula blending the Tahini with the Olive Oil into an emulsion

  14. Add Tamari, Nutritional Yeast, Dijon Mustard, Garlic powder, Liquid Smoke, MSG, Smoked Paprika, Chili powder and remaining Salt

  15. Mix thoroughly until smooth and creamy

  16. Add Kale Chiffonade & Mix thoroughly

  17. Increase Heat to Medium stirring the entire time until Kale begins to soften

  18. Add Cooked & Chilled Penne Pasta

  19. Mix thoroughly coating all the Penne Pasta with the cheesy sauce

  20. Cook until Pasta is up to desired temperature

  21. Serve topped with Plant-Parmesan

  22. Serve alone or with Garlic Bread and your favorite Pura Vida Salad

  23. Eat and Enjoy because every bite nourishes your body
